I know there&#039;s already a lot of Paolo Mori on here, but one of my favorite 2P games is his Pocket Battles series. They&#039;re like a miniatures game you can literally fit in your pocket. If you missed out on those, it looks they&#039;re getting a revamp in the form of Battalion: War of the Ancients this year.

More &quot;great at two and other counts too&quot; are 1775: Rebellion and 1754: Conquest: great card-driven wargames that are accessible to the non-wargamer that you can play one-on-one, or in asymmetric teams of two.

Finally, there&#039;s a  Commands and Colors game for just about every period and setting, but my favorite is BattleLore 2nd Edition. Nothing else feels so much like fighting an epic LotR-style fantasy battle.]]></description>
