Soda Smugglers – Standard

Description

Lawmakers are cracking down on soda, and tight regulation has made way for lucrative smuggling. One bottle per person is the new law—thus bribes, suitcase inspections, and arrests are on the agenda. Only one will emerge the Soda Kingpin!

This clever card game is a refreshingly unique blend of bribing and bluffing. Players will take turns in the role of border guard; accepting bribes, inspecting suitcases, and making arrests. All other players will be travelers either bringing in one bottle, being respectable law abiding individuals… or they attempting to sneak in additional sodas, hoping to either fly under the radar or successfully bribe the border guard into looking the other way.

Soda Smugglers is created by award-winning designer, Reiner Knizia, for 3-8 players ages 8 and up, playing in roughly 20 minutes.  It is game 1 of 3 in Reiner Knizia’s Criminal Capers Collection—three standalone 20-minute card games in a shared universe of organized crime.
